Again! Man United to Face Rival Chelsea in Blockbuster Premier League Opening Day Clash with Arsenal in nightmare Start [See Full Fixtures] by : 11:41 am On June 13, 2019

MANCHESTER UNITED have been drawn against Chelsea in a tasty clash on the first weekend of the Premier League 2019/20 season.

All eyes will be on Old Trafford for the stand-out clash as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer aims for a better season and a place back in the Champions League after his side trailed off at the end of last term.

Chelsea, who are currently hit with rumours about their manager and the transfer ban in the build up to next season, will be aiming to continue from their success in the Europa League.

Arsenal, who start the season away at Newcastle, have been handed a tough start to their new campaign once again.

The Gunners, who went on a 22-match unbeaten run in all competitions last season, face Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United before October.

Last season saw Unai Emery’s side face Manchester City and Chelsea in their two opening games and it looks like it will be another tough start for Arsenal.

The 2019/20 season will kick-off on August 9 with newly promoted Norwich taking on Premier League runners-up and Champions League winners Liverpool.

The clash takes place on Friday night at Anfield.

After winning the domestic treble last season, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City start their new campaign with a trip to West Ham.

The reigning champions face a tricky February and March when the season reaches a critical stage, with Tottenham, Leicester, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea five of their seven games.

Mancunians will be eyeing up the two Manchester derbies, with City hosting United first on December 7 and the reverse fixture taking place at Old Trafford on March 7.

Sheffield United, who were promoted last season face the long trip to Bournemouth whilst play-off winners Aston Villa have a tough challenge against last season’s Champions League runners-up Tottenham.
