NotTooYoungToRun: At 25 and 35 Years, You Can Now Run To Become A Senator or President In Nigeria Respectively by : 7:29 am On July 27, 2017

On tuesday, i posted it here that the senate would be reviewing the age limit for leadership positions in the country and of course, voting for a new one on 26th being yesterday.

Now, Above is the new age qualification to run for a political office as approved by the Nigerian Senate during the constitution review exercise yesterday.

Before now, a person must be at least 40 years of age to be elected President or Vice President, 35 to be a Senator or State Governor, and 30 to be a Representative in parliament.
