PDP didn’t suspend me – Ambrose Nwaogwugwu reacts to threats of arrest from Hope Uzodinma by : 9:08 am On April 11, 2020

Following a Press Release from the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodinma threatening to seek legal actions against the DG of New Media of the Imo PDP Mr Ambrose Nwaogwugwu as well as a letter purportedly signed by the PDP suspending Nwaogwugwu, Mr Ambrose Nwaogwugwu have in a swift reaction rubbished the purported suspension as well as hit back at the Hope Uzodinma administration for threatening to get him arrested.

His reaction reads as follows:

— After Forging The Signature Of Our Party Secretary Announcing My Suspension.

I have just been informed that the Supreme Court Governor has threatened to arrest me for speaking out and bursting the many frauds the imposed government is built upon.

This is after they forged the signature of my party Secretary announcing my purported SUSPENSION. When that failed to achieve their sinister motives – the Governor’s CPS issued a threat of arrest Press Release.

We suspect that Mr. Oguwike Nwachukwu is behind the forging of our party Secretary signature.

My state party chairman just called and we spoke at length and he was furious that the agents of the state government could go to the extents of forging the signature of the party’s secretary, Nze Raymond Emeana. He noted that the names of the people the rogue elements of the sate government included in the FAKE Suspension letter were the people he worked with in 2015 as a caretaker committee, noting that the PDP in Imo state at the moment currently do not run any caretaker committee as falsely stated in the FAKE Suspension letter.

The party has a substantive state working committee contrary to the contents of the FAKE Suspension letter.

The incompetent and clueless government of shared Iberiberism Sen. Hope Uzodinma having failed severally to shut us up through death threats and threats of arrests from proxies have now come out open with their threats.

Because of the obvious failures of the state government to run the affairs of the state and our constant reminders of these failures – they have become jittery of our activities and threatened by the fact that we are constantly exposing their evil agendas and has now resorted to threats of arrest and sundry evil they would want to unleash on us.

The state government led by Sen. Hope Uzodinma has shown they are intolerant of opposing views and has demonstrated that they can no longer stand dissent opinions from the opposition which is a major ingredient in any democracy.

The Governor of the shortlived PDP government never at any time in any way whether by proxy or by the Governor’s official mouthpiece threatened any member of the opposition despite the scathing criticisms they state government got by the then opposition who are now in government.

The anti Democratic tendencies has become manifest as the Governor now issue threats of arrests to intimidate the members of the opposition and muzzle the media into silence.

This is to also put it out to notice and alert the general public that should anything happen to me going forward – the state government led by Sen. Hope Uzodinma should be held responsible.

I note this, with particular mention of the threat laced press release issued this morning by the CPS to the Governor signed by Mr. Oguwike Nwachukwu were the Governor specifically threatened to arrest me for criticising the inept APC regime in the state.

Let it be known to the Supreme Court Governor and his gangs of arrest threateners that they cannot shut the opposition up from saying the truth and speaking out for the misruled people of Imo State who were unjustly bundled into a regime they never voted for on the 14th day of January 2020.
